   Chill the coupe thoroughly, prepare the One small green olive, and ready the mixing equipment.

   Measure irish whiskey, triple sec, anise liqueur, maraschino liqueur, aromatic bitters accurately and add them to a clean mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid ice cubes and place a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Pre-chill a coupe. Combine the Irish whiskey, half-teaspoon each of triple sec and anisette, quarter-teaspoon of maraschino, and one dash of aromatic bitters with solid ice. Stir for 20–25 seconds until very cold and diluted, fine-strain into the coupe, then add exactly one small green olive on a short discreet pick.

   Strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the finished drink clear of ice fragments.

   Finish with One small green olive and serve immediately.
