   Chill the coupe thoroughly, confirm that no garnish is required, and ready the shaker.

   Measure gin, sweet vermouth, grenadine, egg white accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Pre-chill a coupe, add the gin, sweet vermouth, grenadine, and egg white to an empty shaker and dry-shake hard for about 10 seconds, add solid ice and shake again for 10–15 seconds until very cold and finely aerated, fine-strain into the chilled coupe, allow the smooth pale-blush foam cap to settle evenly, and serve without garnish.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no small ice fragments reach the drink.

   Serve immediately without a garnish while the drink is at its best.
