   Pre-chill one small clear rocks glass thoroughly; this cocktail is served straight up with no ice or garnish.

   Measure the genever, gentian liqueur, golden Italian herbal liqueur, génépy, and white cacao liqueur into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid cold ice and position a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Stir steadily for 20–25 seconds until the five liqueur and spirit components are fully integrated and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the empty chilled rocks glass so the pale drink remains clear and free of ice fragments.

   Serve immediately without adding ice, citrus, chocolate, herbs, or any other garnish.
