   Chill a heavy rocks glass and prepare exactly one very small compact mint sprig.

   Measure the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, passion-fruit syrup, and grenadine into a blender cup.

   Add a measured scoop of cracked or crushed ice.

   Blend at high speed for about five seconds, stopping while the texture remains loose and drinkable.

   Pour the complete mixture unstrained into the chilled rocks glass and add a little crushed ice if needed below the rim.

   Place only the compact mint sprig at the rim and serve immediately.
