   Pre-chill one clear coupe, cut exactly one tiny fresh lemon cheek, and rinse the chilled glass with the measured absinthe.

   Discard excess absinthe, then measure the white rum, dry vermouth, green-apple syrup, and umeshu into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass about three-quarters full with solid cold ice.

   Stir smoothly for 20–25 seconds until the pale mixture is very cold and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the absinthe-rinsed coupe so no ice fragments reach the drink.
