   Chill a chilled rocks glass and prepare pineapple leaf.

   Measure 45 ml dark rum, 22.5 ml red bitter aperitif, 45 ml pineapple juice, 15 ml fresh lime juice, 15 ml simple syrup into a clean shaker.

   Fill the shaker two-thirds full with large, fresh ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Shake hard for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is frosted.

   Double-strain into the chilled a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice.

   Add pineapple leaf neatly and serve immediately.
