Garnish: Lime wedge and mint sprig

   Chill a double rocks glass, cut one small lime wedge, and select one compact mint sprig.

   Measure the Demerara rum, dark rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and allspice dram into a shaker.

   Add solid ice and shake hard for 10–15 seconds until thoroughly chilled.

   Fill the chilled glass with fresh crushed ice and strain the cocktail over it.

   Add a little more crushed ice if needed, keeping the top neat and below the rim.

   Place the lime wedge and mint sprig securely together at the rim and serve immediately.
