   Chill the coupe thoroughly, prepare the One small orange slice, and ready the shaker.

   Measure gin, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, orange juice, egg yolk, orange accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Pre-chill a coupe, separate one fresh egg yolk cleanly, add it with the gin, both vermouths, and fresh orange juice to a shaker filled with solid ice, shake hard for 15 seconds until very cold and fully emulsified, fine-strain into the chilled coupe, place exactly one small orange slice neatly at the rim, and serve immediately.
