   Chill a Nick and Nora glass and reserve exactly one small dehydrated lemon wheel.

   Measure the mezcal, fresh carrot juice, honey-turmeric syrup, and fresh lemon juice into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker three-quarters full with solid ice and seal it firmly.

   Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until the opaque orange mixture is thoroughly cold.

   Double strain through a fine-mesh strainer into the chilled Nick and Nora glass.

   Rest exactly one small dehydrated lemon wheel at the rim and serve without another garnish.
