   Chill the coupe thoroughly, confirm that no garnish is required, and ready the shaker.

   Measure gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice, yellow chartreuse, amaro, simple syrup accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Pre-chill a coupe, add the gin, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, Yellow Chartreuse, amaro, and simple syrup to a shaker filled with solid ice, shake hard for 10–15 seconds until very cold and evenly integrated, fine-strain into the chilled coupe, allow coarse bubbles to settle to a restrained line, and serve quietly without garnish.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no small ice fragments reach the drink.

   Serve immediately without a garnish while the drink is at its best.
