   Cut one lime disk about 4 cm thick with a little flesh attached and chill a single old-fashioned glass.

   Place the lime disk and cane-style simple syrup in the serving glass and muddle firmly to release juice and peel oils.

   Measure the clairin-style cane rum, plum eau-de-vie, overproof Jamaican rum, and macadamia liqueur into the glass.

   Fill the glass with irregular cracked clear ice, keeping the muddled lime disk at the bottom.

   Stir briefly in the serving glass until the mixture is chilled and lightly diluted.

   Leave the top of the glass completely ungarnished and serve immediately.
