   Pre-chill one heavy rocks glass, prepare one large clear ice cube, and trim one very small clean artichoke-heart wedge.

   Measure 45 ml Tennessee whiskey, 30 ml artichoke amaro, and 30 ml pale aromatized wine into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid cold ice and place a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Stir smoothly for 20–25 seconds until the bittersweet mixture is very cold and properly diluted.

   Strain into the chilled rocks glass over the single large clear ice cube.

   Secure the single compact artichoke-heart wedge neatly at the rim and serve without another garnish.
