   Pre-chill one clear heavy rocks glass, prepare clean cubed serving ice, and cut exactly one small thin lime wedge.

   Measure 30 ml sloe gin, 30 ml reposado tequila, and 30 ml sweetened lime cordial into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid cold ice and seal it securely.

   Shake firmly for 10–12 seconds until the vivid ruby-red mixture is very cold and properly diluted.

   Fill the chilled rocks glass with fresh cubed ice and strain the cocktail over it.

   Set the single compact lime wedge neatly at the rim and serve without salt or another garnish.
