Garnish: One short orange twist

   Chill a double old-fashioned glass, prepare one large clear ice cube, and cut one short thin orange twist.

   Measure the aged agricole rum, singani, dry vermouth, amaro, and herbal liqueur into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid ice and place a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Stir smoothly for 20 to 25 seconds until the spice-led mixture is very cold and properly diluted.

   Strain the clear amber drink into the chilled glass over the single large clear cube.

   Express the orange twist over the surface, set that same compact twist just inside the rim, and serve.
