   Chill the coupe thoroughly, prepare the One green olive, and ready the mixing equipment.

   Measure gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, aromatic bitters, green olives accurately and add them to a clean mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid ice cubes and place a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Pre-chill a coupe, combine the gin, dry vermouth, one teaspoon sweet vermouth, and one measured dash of aromatic bitters in a mixing glass with solid ice, stir for 20–25 seconds until very cold and properly diluted, fine-strain into the chilled coupe, add exactly one well-drained green olive, and serve immediately.

   Strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the finished drink clear of ice fragments.

   Finish with One green olive and serve immediately.
