   Chill a single old-fashioned glass, prepare one large clear ice cube, and cut one tiny round lemon coin.

   Measure the rye whiskey, barrel-rested rum, basil eau-de-vie, peach liqueur, and rich cane syrup into a mixing glass.

   Add one dash of aromatic bitters, then fill the mixing glass with solid ice.

   Stir smoothly for 20 to 25 seconds until the herbal fruit-accented drink is very cold and diluted.
