   Pre-chill one clear coupe and cut exactly one small fresh lime wedge for the finished drink.

   Measure 45 ml reposado tequila, 45 ml amaro, 10 ml freshly squeezed lime juice, and 2.5 ml agave syrup into a clean shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice and seal it securely.

   Shake firmly for 10–12 seconds until the bittersweet sour is very cold and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the warm amber-gold surface clear of ice fragments.

   Set the single lime wedge neatly at the rim and serve without a salt rim, orange, or another garnish.
