   Measure dark rum, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, lemon juice accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Chill a rocks glass and fill it with fresh clear cubed ice. Add the dark rum, triple sec, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice to a shaker with solid ice. Shake hard for 10–15 seconds, strain over the prepared ice, verify no fruit or peel remains, and serve without garnish.

   Fine-strain into the chilled rocks so no small ice fragments reach the drink.
