   Chill the coupe thoroughly, confirm that no garnish is required, and ready the shaker.

   Measure white rum, honey, lemon juice accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Stir the honey with the fresh lemon juice in the shaker until loosened, add the white rum and crushed ice, shake hard until very cold, fine-strain into a chilled coupe, and serve without garnish.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no small ice fragments reach the drink.

   Serve immediately without a garnish while the drink is at its best.
