   Chill a large cocktail glass and freshly squeeze the grapefruit and lime juices.

   Measure the white rum, grapefruit juice, maraschino liqueur, and lime juice into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker two-thirds with fresh ice.

   Shake hard for 10–12 seconds until thoroughly cold.

   Fine-strain into the chilled cocktail glass to remove pulp and ice fragments.

   Inspect the clean surface and serve immediately without garnish.
