   Chill a Collins glass and cut three small thin cucumber slices for a restrained final garnish.

   Measure the mezcal, green chile spirit, pear brandy, grenadine, fresh lime juice, and absinthe into a shaker.

   Add cucumber to the shaker, fill with solid ice, and seal firmly.

   Shake vigorously for 10 to 12 seconds to chill and lightly extract the cucumber.

   Double strain into the chilled Collins glass and fill the glass with fresh crushed ice.
