   Measure the blanc vermouth, apple brandy, gentian aperitif, pear brandy, and verjus into a mixing glass.

   Fill with solid ice and stir steadily for 25–30 seconds until cold and properly diluted.

   Place the single large clear cube squarely in the chilled rocks glass.

   Strain the cocktail over the cube without transferring any mixing ice.
