Garnish: Thin cucumber slice

   Chill a coupe and cut one small, thin cucumber slice that will sit securely at the rim.

   Measure the gin, lemon juice, gentian aperitif, creme de violette, and honey syrup into a shaker.

   Fill with ice and shake hard for 10–15 seconds until very cold.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no ice chips or citrus pulp enter the drink.

   Secure the single cucumber slice neatly at the rim without dipping it deeply into the liquid.

   Check the glass is clean and serve immediately.
