   Chill a coupe and prepare one very small mint sprig with one narrow cucumber ribbon for the exact garnish.

   Place the cucumber slices, mint leaves, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice in a shaker and muddle gently to release aroma without shredding the mint.

   Measure the gin into the shaker, add solid ice, and seal the shaker firmly.

   Shake hard for 10–12 seconds until the drink is thoroughly chilled and properly diluted.
