Garnish: One blackberry

1. 01

   Chill a heavy rocks glass, prepare plenty of fresh crushed ice, and reserve exactly one firm blackberry.

   Pour the blended Scotch, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rich syrup into the chilled glass.

   Fill with crushed ice and swizzle until the outside of the glass becomes cold and the ingredients are integrated.

   Crown with a little more crushed ice, then drizzle the blackberry liqueur slowly around the top surface to create a natural dark layer.

   Place the single blackberry securely on the ice without adding any other fruit or herbs.

6. 06

   Wipe the glass exterior and serve immediately before the crushed ice settles.
