   Chill a stemmed wine glass and prepare solid clear ice, exactly four coffee beans, and a small pinch of cocoa nibs.

   Fill the chilled wine glass with fresh solid ice.

   Measure the gin and coffee liqueur directly over the ice.

   Pour the chilled tonic water slowly down the inside of the glass; never shake the carbonated ingredient.

   Stir once or twice with a bar spoon, lifting gently so the drink combines without losing carbonation.

   Place exactly four coffee beans and only a restrained pinch of cocoa nibs on the ice, then serve immediately.
