Garnish: One small thin orange wedge

   Chill a heavy rocks glass, prepare fresh fine crushed ice, and cut one very small thin orange wedge.

   Measure the dark rum, white rum, fresh lemon juice, orange juice, passion-fruit syrup, and simple syrup into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker with solid ice and seal it securely.

   Shake vigorously until the drink is thoroughly chilled and evenly combined.

   Strain into the chilled rocks glass over fresh fine crushed ice and level the ice below the rim.

   Place only the compact orange wedge at the rim and serve immediately.
