   Place the large cube in the chilled glass and add the measured grenadine and Peychaud's bitters.

   Pour the bourbon over the cube without splashing the rim.

   Stir in the glass until the grenadine is fully dispersed and the drink is cold.

   Check that the liquid has an even amber-red tint and that the cube remains clean and intact.
