   Pre-chill one clear coupe and ready a fine grater with a small piece of whole nutmeg.

   Measure the blended Scotch, gin, white creme de cacao, and cold heavy cream into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid cold ice and seal it securely.

   Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the creamy mixture is very cold, lightly aerated, and integrated.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no ice fragments interrupt the smooth pale surface.

6. 06

   Grate one restrained dusting of nutmeg at the center and serve without another garnish.
