Garnish: Exactly one compact mint sprig and exactly one preserved red cocktail cherry together at the rim

   Chill one highball glass and prepare exactly one compact mint sprig plus one preserved cocktail cherry.

   Add Irish whiskey, blanc vermouth, fresh lemon juice, and grenadine directly to the glass.

   Fill the glass with fine crushed ice to just below the rim.

   Swizzle vigorously until the outside frosts and the drink becomes lightly frothy.

   Top with a small amount of additional crushed ice while keeping the rim clear.

   Set the mint sprig and single cherry together at the rim and serve without another garnish.
