   Chill the coupe thoroughly, prepare the One short lemon twist, and ready the mixing equipment.

   Measure gin, sweet vermouth, green chartreuse, lemon accurately and add them to a clean mixing glass.

   Pre-chill a coupe, measure one teaspoon of Green Chartreuse, combine it with the gin and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass with solid ice, stir for 20–25 seconds until cold and properly diluted, fine-strain into the chilled glass, express one short lemon peel, and retain it at the rim.

   Strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the finished drink clear of ice fragments.
