   Chill the coupe thoroughly, prepare the One small dollop of lightly whipped cream, and ready the shaker.

   Measure gin, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, egg white, whipped cream accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Pre-chill a coupe, add the gin, maraschino liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and egg white to an empty shaker, dry-shake hard for about 10 seconds, add solid ice and shake again for 10–15 seconds, fine-strain into the coupe, let the compact ivory foam settle, then place exactly one small neat dollop of lightly whipped cream at the center.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no small ice fragments reach the drink.

   Finish with One small dollop of lightly whipped cream and serve immediately.
