Garnish: One small strawberry half

   Chill a coupe thoroughly, hull one ripe strawberry for the drink, and prepare one small strawberry half for garnish.

   Place the whole strawberry in a shaker and press gently just until its juice is released without pulverizing the seeds.

   Add the gin, elderflower liqueur, Yellow Chartreuse, fresh lemon juice, and solid cold ice.

   Seal the shaker and shake hard until the mixture is thoroughly chilled and evenly integrated.

   Double-strain into the chilled coupe so strawberry pulp, seeds, and ice fragments remain behind.

   Clip only the single small strawberry half neatly at the rim and serve immediately.
