   Pre-chill one clear coupe and confirm that the finished cocktail requires no garnish.

   Measure 55 ml new-make whiskey spirit, 25 ml fresh lemon juice, 20 ml pandan syrup, two dashes saline, and one restrained dash pimento bitters into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid cold ice and seal it firmly.

   Shake hard for 10–12 seconds until the pandan sour is very cold, lightly aerated, and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so the pale surface remains clean and free of ice fragments.

   Serve immediately without pandan leaves, citrus, herbs, flowers, fruit, or any other garnish.
