   Pre-chill one clear Collins glass, chill the tonic water, prepare fresh clear cubed serving ice, and reserve exactly one small thin dehydrated lemon wheel.

   Measure 40 ml blended Scotch, 20 ml apple brandy, 15 ml fino sherry, and one dash celery bitters into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass generously with solid cold ice and stir steadily for 20–25 seconds until the still ingredients are very cold and properly diluted.

   Add 90 ml thoroughly chilled tonic water to the cold mixture without shaking or agitating the carbonation.

   Strain gently into the chilled Collins glass over fresh clear cubed ice, preserving the tonic's fine bubbles.

   Place the single dehydrated lemon wheel at the rim and serve immediately without apple, celery, herbs, a straw, or another garnish.
