   Chill the hurricane, prepare fresh serving ice, and prepare the Thin sugar rim and one small thin lime wheel.

   Measure citrus vodka, orange juice, grapefruit juice, ginger ale, lime, white sugar accurately before opening any carbonated ingredient.

   Add the non-carbonated ingredients directly to the chilled hurricane.

   Chill a hurricane glass. Moisten only the outside edge with a lime wedge, discard it, and apply a thin even sugar rim. Fill with clear cubed ice, add the citrus vodka, orange juice, and grapefruit juice, stir from the bottom until cold, top with ginger ale, stir once gently, then place exactly one small thin lime wheel at the rim.

   Check the fill level and give one gentle lift with a bar spoon without over-diluting the drink.

   Finish with Thin sugar rim and one small thin lime wheel and serve immediately.
