   Chill the coupe thoroughly, confirm that no garnish is required, and ready the shaker.

   Measure vodka, orange juice, vanilla herbal liqueur, whole egg, new orleans aromatic bitters accurately and add them to a clean cocktail shaker.

   Fill the shaker about three-quarters full with solid ice cubes and seal it firmly.

   Pre-chill a coupe. Crack one fresh whole egg into an empty shaker, add the vodka, fresh orange juice, vanilla-herbal liqueur, and three dashes of New Orleans aromatic bitters, and dry-shake hard for 10 seconds. Add solid ice, shake again for 10–15 seconds, fine-strain into the coupe, let the compact foam settle, and serve without garnish.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so no small ice fragments reach the drink.

   Serve immediately without a garnish while the drink is at its best.
