   Chill the coupe thoroughly, confirm that no garnish is required, and ready the mixing equipment.

   Measure brandy, dry vermouth, creme de menthe, maraschino liqueur accurately and add them to a clean mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid ice cubes and place a bar spoon against the inside wall.

   Pre-chill a coupe, combine the brandy, dry vermouth, white crème de menthe, and maraschino liqueur in a mixing glass filled with solid ice, stir steadily for 20–25 seconds until very cold and properly diluted, fine-strain into the chilled coupe, verify the very pale green-gold surface is clear and still, and serve without garnish.

   Strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the finished drink clear of ice fragments.

   Serve immediately without a garnish while the drink is at its best.
