Garnish: Lemon twist

   Chill a coupe and cut one narrow lemon twist with minimal white pith.

   Measure the gin, sweet sherry, vodka, blanc vermouth, kirsch, orange aperitif, and orange bitters into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass with solid ice and stir smoothly for 20–25 seconds until very cold and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe, leaving all mixing ice behind.

   Express the lemon oils evenly over the clear surface of the drink.

   Place the twist neatly at the rim and serve without any additional decoration.
