1. 01

   Pre-chill one clear coupe and confirm that the finished cocktail is served without garnish.

   Measure 30 ml vodka, 67.5 ml coconut rum liqueur, 5 ml coconut syrup, and 37.5 ml chilled water into a mixing glass.

   Fill the mixing glass generously with solid cold ice.

   Stir steadily for 20–25 seconds until the coconut mixture is very cold and properly diluted.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe so the surface remains clear and free of ice fragments.

   Serve immediately without coconut, citrus, herbs, or any other garnish.
