   Chill a coupe thoroughly; the original presentation is intentionally ungarnished.

   Measure the reposado tequila, amaretto, apricot liqueur, fresh lime juice, orgeat, and maple syrup into a shaker.

   Fill the shaker with solid cold ice and seal it securely.

   Shake hard until the drink is very cold and the maple syrup and orgeat are completely dispersed.

   Fine-strain into the chilled coupe, keeping the surface clean and free of ice chips.

   Serve immediately with no garnish so the tequila, apricot, and almond aromas remain the focus.
